Hiring Delta Concrete was one of the single best experiences we’ve had working with a licensed contractor. Junior, Alli, and his team demonstrated extreme care and diligence in the work they did. They always went the extra mile to do things right, even when it wasn’t the easy way. Our backyard project involved stamped and broom finished concrete, a stepping stone path, and new irrigation lines. We found out early during the job that our dirt was extremely hard. Releveling of the backyard to ensure proper drainage therefore became a job that took multiple days instead of the one day that was originally planned; I absolutely love that Junior took no shortcuts and invested significant time and resources to making the proper grade. He and his crew also helped make a special accommodation for part of our side yard that where concrete had to be placed around an existing water softener. Junior also helped install a concrete retaining wall that was not originally requested but was functionally required for drainage - this was just one more example of how Junior went the extra mile. Also, I wanted to comment that of the four estimates we got, Delta’s was the only one that viewed rebar as a necessary and not optional component of the concrete - again this speaks to Junior maintaining a high standard. In our front yard Junior and his crew replaced our tan bark with a beautiful dry creek and also added two mow strips. The dry creek matches perfectly with the color of our home! I also wanted to thank Junior and Alli for their patience, as our plans for what we wanted shifted a few times during the project. They rolled with the punches and the final cost of the project was very reasonable. Also a shout out to Juan Luis, Juan, Jonathan, Teo, and Alfredo for their diligent help during more than a week of 90+ degree work days. Each individual part of the crew was so warm and friendly I actually felt a bit bummed when the job was done. In summary, I found out why Delta Concrete has such stellar reviews.
